How to get help

If you are having trouble with your bladder, you should contact a doctor or nurse.

If you can't control your bladder, it means that something in your body isn't functioning as it should. This can lead to other problems, like poor self-esteem. Wetting yourself or not being able to empty your bladder can be hard on your self-confidence!

What happens at the nurse's or doctor's?

During your first visit to the nurse or doctor, most of the time is spent just talking. As the patient, you tell them about your problem. This way, the nurse or doctor can get a picture of the problem and can find suggestions for solutions. Almost everyone who seeks help can get better; most people can be completely cured.

Healthcare professionals meet a lot of people with bladder problems. No question is too odd or crazy.
